Mercedes-Benz W213 LED High Performance Headlight A2139064804 - Used Original Parts

Diagnosis and Common Symptoms

As a technician specializing in German electrical systems, I frequently see lighting faults on the W213 chassis stemming from moisture ingress or thermal stress on the diode clusters. The LED High Performance headlight is a highly sophisticated component, and failure often triggers dashboard warnings such as "Intelligent Light System Inoperative" or specific low/high beam malfunction alerts. Diagnostic scans via Xentry typically reveal fault codes within the Signal Acquisition Module (SAM) or the Headlight Control Unit, such as B1614 for daytime running light faults or U0212 indicating a loss of communication. Physical symptoms include a misaligned beam pattern, flickering LED strips, localized diode burnout, or visible condensation pooling at the base of the lens housing which ultimately shorts the internal circuitry.
