BMW 123437: Electric Wastegate Jammed Closed
BMW fault code 123437 means the DME tried to move the electric wastegate actuator on bank 1 but the flap did not move away from its closed stop. It is most commonly a mechanically stiff or seized wastegate flap from carbon build-up, or a fault in the actuator itself, and it usually puts the car into limp mode with reduced power.
