Mercedes-Benz W169 W245 Door Control Module A1698207326 - Used Original Parts

Diagnosis and Common Symptoms

From the workshop floor, the A169/W245 platform door control modules (often called a 'TCM' or Türsteuermodul) are a common point of failure. The primary issue is often internal electronic component breakdown, leading to a loss of communication on the vehicle's CAN bus network. This results in a completely "dead" door—no power windows, no mirror adjustment, and no central locking response for that specific door.

On a diagnostic tool like STAR/Xentry, you will typically find fault codes indicating a communication failure with the specific door module (e.g., driver's side front). Dashboard errors may include messages related to window or mirror malfunctions. Physical symptoms are unambiguous: erratic or completely non-functional window regulators, inoperative mirror motors, and the door lock actuator failing to engage with the remote key fob.

Introduction

This is a Genuine Mercedes-Benz Door Control Module, not an inferior aftermarket copy. Each unit is carefully salvaged from a donor vehicle and subjected to rigorous bench testing to ensure full functionality of all outputs, from the window motor driver to the CAN communication circuits. Choosing a tested, genuine used part restores original factory performance without the high cost of a new module from the dealer.
