Volkswagen 01315: No Communication With Gearbox Control Module
VW code 01315 means the scan tool cannot talk to the gearbox control module, J217, at all. It usually starts with power supply, grounds or CAN bus wiring rather than the mechatronic itself, but once the module actually drops off the bus the car can get stuck in one gear or refuse to move.
